Her projects emphasise self-expression and self-development where participants work in a supportive environment. Her services include school-based workshops and individual and group tuition to children, adolescents and adults in French and English.
President - Silvana Desborough
Born in Egypt and now retired in France, Silvana became President of the Association Art pour le Developpement in 2008.
As a multi-linguist, she spent most of her professional life developing methods and techniques to encourage and enhance communication between people of various nationalities.
She discovered her passion for art whilst living and working in Turin in the 1970's, and has since been engaged in both distance education and local art classes in order to achieve a degree in Art and Technology.
In recent years she has furthered her interest in and commitment to educational development by working more specifically with young people who have experienced varying forms of communication difficulties, both in the UK and France.
